Raymond F. "Skip" Lathrop

Hebron-Raymond F. “Skip” Lathrop, Jr., 67, of Hebron, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his residence.

Skip was born November 23, 1949 in Granville and was the son of the late Raymond F. Lathrop, Sr. and step-son of the late Helen Cordier Lathrop.

He was a 1967 graduate of Salem Washington Academy and worked for various companies until he retired to enjoy life and hunting every year.

Skip was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam Era.

In addition to his father and step-mother, Skip was predeceased by his daughter, Raechel Lathrop and a brother, Stephen Lathrop.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine “Josie” Sevrie Lathrop; sons, Michael Lathrop, Travis Lathrop; step-daughter, Miranda Ford; brothers & sisters, Bob (Darlene) Lathrop, Diane (Jeff Darrah) Lathrop, Lois (Bob) Pedrick, Jeff (Kathy) Snow and Greg Snow; 3 grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

The family will have a service privately.
